Named after long time Park Commissioner Timothy Fara, the site encompasses 7.4 acres.  Fara Family Park encompasses approximately 7.4 acres. The Park contains an intermediate size baseball field which also functions as a full-size soccer or football field.  There are additional small field accommodations which house pre-school sized athletic activities.

There is a gazebo, and a two tiered playground that features separate play areas, one designed for 3-6 years, and one designed for 6-12 years.  Winter outdoor enthusiasts use the 15,000 square feet of outdoor ice surface for skating when conditions allow.
